Martin Gerrard, who was named Harrogate Business Personality of the Year earlier this year, has supported the Yorkshire Young Achievers Awards, which have just celebrated their 26th anniversary, for many years. Martin joined Barclays in 1973, securing the position of Head of Securities in Skipton in 1982. He moved to Harrogate in 1988 and undertook various roles before starting Barclays Premier in 1996. He is a registered Mentor and on the Management Group of Harrogate Chamber of Trade and Commerce. |
Foundation Chairman Peter McCormick OBE said: “Martin is passionate about improving the community in any way that he can, as is evident from his support over the years, and he will be a great asset to the Board of Trustees.”
