Well for our work last year, we increased participation from the numbers I gave you before, to over 60 young people playing cricket. We introduced, through your donation at least 20 young people to hard ball cricket. We held U9 cricket for the first time and feel agonisingly short in the Bradford Junior Final, on a lovely day in August.
Our juniors also won a number of plaudits from our peers, who voted on the inaugural John Dewhirst Trophy from the Bradford Junior League, which we proudly won for playing cricket in the spirit that it is supposed to be played, hosting the fixtures at a pleasant ground, where things were all in good order and the Club section as a whole, very well run. So I would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU. Because without your donation we would not have got this far.”
